GRASHI For Your Professional Development
Whether
you are a newly licensed home inspector or an “old timer”,
you know that there is always something new to learn in our
profession. A good inspector has to keep up on new construction
methods and materials, code changes, and local issues to name
a few. Sometimes the “new” thing that you learn
actually pertains to a system installed one hundred years
ago.
We would like to invite you to make our ASHI chapter a keystone
in your professional development. At our chapter you will
find open, friendly meetings where you will be able to network
with inspectors from throughout the Greater Rochester area,
catch up on what’s happening in the profession locally,
and get legislative updates. We have an hour of education
at each meeting. Chapter benefits also include an educational
monthly newsletter and free listing on the “Find An
Inspector” tab on our website. |
|
However, many
inspectors find that the camaraderie generated by knowing inspectors
both within and outside of your market is the greatest benefit of
membership.
Attending chapter
meetings is an excellent way for prospective inspectors to check
out the profession and get a feel for the market and competition
before committing to the training involve in obtaining a license.
ASHI inspectors
join the chapter with their ASHI national designation, Associate
Inspector, Certified Inspector, etc.
Please come
to our next chapter meeting. We meet the second Tuesday of each
month in Irondequoit. You can find details in the “Training
and Monthly Meetings” tab above. Check us out, we think you
will like what you see.
